what is known about sheffield's stadium situation. where they are playing right now feels really small. a city of that size they should at least get 1k

https://www.castlefordtigers.com/article/494/fans-forum-summary-270826 tldr: Sloan seems to be playing at Cas next year Jepson believes "the club can only survive if we get back to the tradition of signing local talent supplemented with signings from overseas and other SL teams' systems" The club needs 9000 against Catalans on Friday to reach next IMG pillar target, and they could have a big increase in points from social media, likely hitting 15+ Jepson is for NRL deal generally

while this did make me laugh i will commend Gav and Simon Hall and the rest of the Knights crew for putting up with you lot

at this point lets just have an annual companies house thread

I actually quite like it, simple and does the job

Iif no one else is following the 1895 cup final drama, I believe widnes have sold out their allocation twice and have finally gotten more. fans have been buying tickets in the london section. I think bare minimum 1500 Widnes for monday

do we know who the minority owner is then?

for those of you who have not seen him yet https://www.youtube.com/@RugbyMadDad refs all sorts of amateur games

http://loverugbyleague.com/post/widnes-wigan-comparison-25-08-2026 Thoughts? I wonder how this plays with IMG and expansion and NRL investment etc. For Widnes, they still find it within themselves to be ambitious even if its in limbo whether they will ever be able to play in the Super League again.

I don't see how Union's claim to international dominance can continue when 3 of their best tier 1.5/2 teams are quickly going down the league path

practically counts as an extra home game for them. hopefully they can make something of it

They reported a crowd of 672 and 707 super early in the year and I haven't seen anything since

Came here to say this. The AFC NFC design eliminates those geographic biases. However in America there is history behind which teams are AFC and which teams are NFC. That doesn't exist in Australia, unless you wanted to recreate the Super League war divide for fun basically

Yes as a "speed up the game" thing. I have no idea if its still in place because my interest in MLR is waning significantly. The league has much bigger problems.

It made little difference for me when the Americans did it in MLR
