One win over Wigan in 40 years tells its own story but anything can happen, granted. Let’s hope it’s a great game and spectacle for the viewers. Absolutely pouring down !

A good friend of mine has just pre booked on line. Only 50 tickets left for home fans so it is very much dependant on Wigan. Hoping the game will be a spectacle and not one similar to game 1 last year.

Bloody scorching here in South Warrington but raincoat and brolly required no doubt come kick off time ! Lets hope it has all the rough and tumble deserving of a 10k plus Derby crowd.

Not sure if Wigan have sold their allocation out but if they have, could be another record crowd which would be fantastic. Unfortunate start to the season but long term, might not be a bad thing with vital game experience for fringe players. Good luck to the lads and get stuck in but they have to believe with a plan B and a second phase attack. None of the above, then Wigan will blow us away second half.

Stranger things have happened. Irrespective, it’s a better Leigh side than the one that put 50 on Wigan in 2017 and Lam and Moylan really need to click to get the most of the lightweight pack to get anything out of the game. Can Leigh be disciplined and Wigan get rattled in front of a near full house ? I can’t see it but it would be good for the game if a shock did take place.

Stranger things have happened. Have faith. If we turn up with the side similar to Salford though, I will be wading on Wigan with -10 with ease ! Could be a long season unfortunately

Absolutely spot on. Salford far better to watch and that was the poorest Leigh side that could be turned out. Salford deserved the 2 but I suppose credit Leigh for not giving up and only losing by 10.

It was a great game but Leigh too many players out to trouble Wigan. It will be another sell out though and another hard tough derby for the viewers to enjoy

A 13 year old catching the 593 and 19 Buses to Warrington with a group of other kids. That wouldn’t happen today for sure but yes, a fantastic game and the Railway end in the second half went absolutely mad. That second try came from a scrum against the head too !

He’s Brilliant. Very humble and very respectful. I don’t compliment Wigan very much being a Leyther (it’s in the blood I’m afraid) but he’s a diamond. I hope his coaching career excels to the pinnacle it deserves.

Great game. Intense, hard and committed. Well done Saints and to be honest, I think Dupree will be looking at a Ban as well as Byrne as both red in my opinion. Good viewing

Enjoyed that although I don’t recall Leigh being in SL in 2014. In fact, Fev and Bradford (I think) were the big hitters that season as I remember Ryan Brierley finishing Fev off in the second half. Still, Fev still play some good stuff and I wish them well this year

Would be great if he did though I would pay to watch that Mon waffle outside of Morrisons giving his spin on a game he hasn’t watched. He might be more bloody accurate !

I don’t think Leigh have appealed anything, more than just prove a point that under the current rules, the attempted tackle wasn’t illegal ? Was it ugly? Yes Is John Wilkin Ugly ? Most definitely. It will be interesting to see what the ref does next as I can name a good few players ( and one in particular who plays for Saints) who can tackle just like Asiata. I think the game is cleaner as a result but still a lot of work to do.
