  5. I was stood next to Stanley Gene when he was a coach, cannot remember which team, at Maesteg when Celtic Crusaders played there. He looked at the green hills all around and said it reminded me of home. I said I didnt remember Hull like this, he walked away
  6. If it were only the hub caps missing you took that as a win When I went there I parked my car and a local scally came up to me and said 'look after your car for a fiver mister'. 7. That is very sad, I got on very well with Bev when I used to ref their acadamey team when he ran them, he would always buy me a drink after the game sit down and tell me all the things I had done wrong. He also appointed me to ref the Varisy game at Old Deer Park, London Welsh one year. After heavy rain the pitch was like the Wembley watersplash final but with loads of guests he needed somesort of game and so we went out and played 20mins each way. He told me later that London Welsh had sent him a bill for £3k for repairing the pitch, he didnt pay it. I think that was 1995.

  11. The RFL have insurance cover for all the pro clubs to make sure they do have some sort of insurance but this only covers catastrophic injuries and death. As a player or agent I would have thought you would ask the question of what cover the club provides before you sign so you know where you stand.
