  1. And the rest. Open season starts on 1st May prior to the date of expiry of contract
  2. My post wasn't referring to 'one off' exceptions....
  3. I make it only 12 of the 36 'pro' clubs own their stadium
  4. The RFL can of course grant exceptions to the 'minimum facilities standards' required for each division, as they have for a few SL and Championship clubs
  5. Spacing doesn't help. Sunday's game will be only the second home game in 7 weeks, and from then to the play offs it's 2 in 9.
  6. Using 2021 is an odd one too with some local authorities seemingly being stricter than others on maximum reduced capacities.
  7. Will be interesting if they use 2020-22 attendances - we only had one home game in 2020 and 2021 had both crowdless and reduced capacity matches....
  8. Ford looked to be taking part in training rather than just observing in yesterday's SM pictures
  9. Max points for 'facilities' but not the bonus. If what was said is true it means Odsal will score higher than many other grounds
  10. As I've posted before, at a recent Bulls' Fans' Forum it was stated by one of the Board that Odsal meets the IMG ground criteria for scoring max points (LEDs and big screen excepted)
  11. Yes, Cam's point is valid in regards to observable/symptomatic injuries due to head impact but they're not really the main issue with regard to the (possible) cause of CTE. It's the numerous times the brain bashes into the skull when a player comes to an abrupt halt, or has their direction of travel change suddenly through collision etc none of which (thanks to the laws of physics) you can stop from happening no matter how conditioned or how perfect the technique.
  12. The ranking in the 2nd link is based solely on 'finishing' position: Cas higher than the 2 Hull clubs, really?
  13. Not sure if the Club still has a suspended fine hanging over it for fan behaviour, but this ain't going to do any favours whatsoever
  14. 1709 at Sheffield last night, a record for the OLP
  15. Plenty of show caves around Castleton (and a castle!). The Blue John Cavern/Mine is probably the most famous and there's Speedwell if you fancy taking a ride in an underground boat. It's also a short walk from the BJ to the summit of Mam Tor with the ridge walk to Lose Hill, down to Hope and back along the river (or v/v) popular. Edale, the starting point for the Pennine Way is in the next valley. There's the plague village of Eyam and also Dove Dale for walking amd limestone scenery and Monsal Dale is worth a visit. Cromford is the home of Arkwright's Mill and the 'modern' factory. Worth remembering all these will almost certainly be very busy. TBH almost anywhere is worth visiting and there's decent walking almost everywhere although as a rough guide south of Edale it tends to be considerably drier underfoot!
  16. I assume it's to allow time for both parties to see how they 'fit', possibly particularly useful for a fringe player looking for another club or a club wanting to check out a possible signing, eg to see how an injured player may be recovering before offering a permanent deal
