  1. The problem is ... It's almost 2am and I can't sleep. It's made me reflective. We, the fans, are powerless supporters. We can say what we like (within reason). We can argue persuasively, rationally, irrationally, occasionally even abusively. We can openly express strongly held views that are contrary to the editorial line of this august organ. We can express opinions especially about recent events in and around out governing body. We can satirise until the end of the universe. Even then, we have no power, no influence, no chance. All we can do is stop going to games and that would be counter-productive, cutting off our noses to spite our faces. What can we do to be heard? Our chief weapon is surprise... surprise and fear... fear and surprise... Our two weapons are fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency,
