Picked up my bike frame and forks from the power coaters this morning. Now have all the bits to put it back together again. The restoration project has gone a bit over budget but its great fun.

OS X Yosemite is hideous.  Foul.  Absolutely awful.  It looks like the Apple people have let the Windows GUI people loose on it.

It just looks childish compared to Mavericks.  Also I can't roll back because I'd need to flatten the system fully.  I'm just used to Mac OS X releases being a step-change improvement each time, this just seems a retrograde step.

If you are unfortunate enough to have to use Microsoft Lync, you'll have to change your language to English (US) and then back to proper English again in order to make the dammed thing work.  This doesn't inpact my use of Yosemite of course, as I'm on tour, with my band.
