What were they thinking?

Very appropriate I'd have thought, given the history of catholic priests (alleged) propensity for that type of thing.

"it is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it."

My evening commute is even quieter. Fewer than 1/3 of seats taken in a carriage that's usually full to standing only. It's quieter than the Christmas week on the train.

I travelled in to the park by underground yesterday, Picadilly line and Central line, both emptier than at similar times on a "normal" working day, traffic is way down as well.

Girlfriends Birthday today, going to be the hottest day of the year, so we are heading for the beach at Cooden, as it's likely to be quieter than Hastings or St Leonard's, she was talking about going to Camber, but I, thankfully, talked her out of that one as it will be very crowded.

What's happened to James Vukrimovic and Haloman?

They are living happily together in a small flat in Moldova. Internet access is somewhat limited hence the lack of posts on here from them.

A Vulcan bomber flew over our car as we were driving down the A12 today :) Couldn't have been more than 200-300 feet up.

I think that should be The Vulcan Bomber as there's only the one still flying
