The album just fails to get going. I've been a huge Springsteen fan. Even in my youth when he was virtually unheard of in the uk.

Western stars just doesn't do it for me. Its well produced and musically excellent.... but.... there are a few buts....

I think he's a bit lost in americana on that one ... I have and have some I prefer.

The first side of his second album is as good as any i have on vinyl.

I gave my entire vinyl collection away last week. My youth in several boxes.

I must admit my very first album ... fire and water by free, fell out of the box as if to escape the handover. I was choked. Absolutely choked.

Bad weather blues on 12" by wishbone ash.... recorded at sheffield in 77.... i was there.

I may regret this
