My brother is really into his blues music, when we have gone too away games ive had to listen his assortment of music. Know matter how ive tried i just can’t get into it, coming home from matches it actually drives me mad because every song just sounds the same.

Did you ask for water? - Big mistake.

Is it a Simple Minds song ?.

Not as far as I`m aware. Does it mention gasoline?

BTW - Empires and Dance, Sons and Fascination, New Gold Dream, Sparkle in the Rain. This is as good a run of four consecutive albums as any. Played them all to death, back in the day. Went a bit too poppy for my tastes subsequently.

Time for some Glass Armonica music!

In the early 70s, the embroidery work and patches emblazoned on the backs of denim jackets worn by teenage lads carried enticing hints to younger urchins like me of an esoteric other world beyond the singles chart.

Needless to say, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple were ubiquitous. Of the lesser lights, along with Uriah Heep and Blue Oyster Cult, Budgie were probably the one I saw most often. Clearly a band who had more impact than their record sales would indicate. They enjoyed a resurgence, if memory serves, in the wake of the phenomenon that was the NWOBHM.

My favourite Budgie track is "Zoom Club".

Absolutely and they deservedly hit the jackpot big time when Metallica covered Breadfan and Crash Course in Brain Surgery.
