What Are You Listening To - The Reckoning

No annoyance here.  I listen to what I think is a wide variety of music but isn't really.  Things pop up on youtube and I take a listen - some I like some I don't - sometimes I post then on forums I frequent as some people may like them even if I don't.  It was probably the name of the band that drove me to post it more than the music.

Watched Peter Hook and the Light on Sky Arts' coverage of the Isle of Wight Festival. Basically, a greatest hits of Joy Division,  New Order, Monaco andhis new band. The intesity of the band was incredible; it transcended being "just an outdoor set shown on the telly."

Catch it if you can on repeat. They are also on tour

What a voice Harriet Wheeler had(and probably still has). One of my biggest regrets was not seeing them live.

What a great debut album Reading , Writing and Arithmetic was ........Often find most of my favourite albums are Bands/Artists debuts .

It was a cracker you are right ivan. But i think all their lps were really good. I wonder what they’re up to nowadays.
I still have the Blind lp t-shirt, and the Goodbye t-shirt which they brought out along with the 12”inch. I haven’t got a clue what happened to my RW&A t-shirt. Thet used to bury me, but now id look like Vicky Pollard if i put them on.
