Derwent
Slash's new album, it's very very good. Lots of different styles on it as you would expect when the guest vocalists range from Fergie (Black Eyed Peas), through Iggy Pop to Lemmy. Best tracks are Crucify The Dead (with Ozzy), Ghost (with Ian Astbury) and Doctor Alibi (with Lemmy) but there really isn't a bad one on the album. I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally

Derwent
Crucify the dead? WTF what's the song about? It's about Axl Rose and how he broke Guns n Roses up with his egotistical actions. The fire started long ago The flames burn down still embers glow So charred and black There's nothing left to burn, to burn We had the same dream Lived life to the extreme A loaded gun jammed by a rose The thorns a knot around your head Your ego cursed you 'til you bled You can not crucify the dead To me you're dead, yeah The future isn't set in stone Decisions past leave you alone Betrayed us all with your own selfish greed, your greed, yeah New soldiers now stand At your beck and command Recruits they are bought and paid by you The thorns a knot around your head Your ego cursed 'til you bled You can not crucify the dead To me you're dead, yeah We were like brothers with the world in our hands You always have to much to say Some days you look back and you'll wonder why You let it all slip away, yeah I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally

westhuller
After watching the Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers documentary on BBC4 I must have listened to this track at least 20 times since. Bedford Roughyed
Pearl Jam - Once (live at reading 2006) Only a month till I see them live. With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
JWAD
i didn't suppose it was life changing stuff justin. I wasn't being smart there. Just a ho-hum rock-n-roll album. I used to like Guns n' Roses so this is like a bonus version as there is no screeching dwarf called Axl Rose singing on it
