Snow..you want snow ha ha.....been working in the north of Norway since the new year.Snow all around but the locals are expecting a big white out in the next few weeks. As Paley rightly stated its coming in from Siberia..Alta (69° 56′ 25″ N, 23° 18′ 38″ E) was -17 last week during the day.Northern Lights starting to show also.

Snow is coming and the UK will proberbly come to a stand still :rolleyes:421810_10150614292046322_601776321_10730063_147287485_n.jpg

From the photo it looks like there's not much in Norway to actually come to a stand still. No wonder the snow makes no difference.

No, you can leave that behind.

The door, however, is over there.

You may be some time.

Right on the coast here gingerjon..its a good 100cm away from the shore...go in land and its pretty deep.Next week they are expecting four foot up the north !!!!!!

Apparently this years snow fall has been light but a lot more expected.

Flew out of Oslo airport on friday and the runways where constantly beimg kept open by an army of snow ploughs.

I suppose Scandinavian countries know how to handle snow better than the UK.Here in Holland any light snow causes havoc with the transport system...especialy the road network. The Dutch also bracing themselves for a Siberian cold snap later this week.

Central Europe expects temperatures to drop down to -35C and below and from Wednesday not warmer than -15C. They think records could be broken in some areas for coldest ever temperatures. Some places at the foot of the Alps near to me (About 1 Hour away) have over 2 metres of snow, though there is next to nothing by me thankfully.

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

A joke I spotted elsewhere:

A lot of snow up my end last night...

...

...

...but I suppose that's to be expected if you go to a party at Michael Barrymore's.

Wouldn't Stevie Nicks be more appropriate?

Another eight inches of snow fell here last night, and it is forecast to carry on chucking it down for another three days. Merde.

At this rate I won't have worked for four weeks.

If you find any spare euros down the back of the sofa / in your turnups, please send them this way.

It wasn't snowing particularly hard, but hard enough to cause gridlock on the M62, I travelled from Jct 28 to Jct 22 and gave it up as a bad job - the road was shut eastbound anyway. So I turned around and retreated to Bradford. (which is what Sir William Fairfax did after the Battle of Adwalton Moor)
