Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Still in work despite finishing at 8am....

1 inch of snow + hill + no gritting + car transporters = ice skating in cars...

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I'll take the memory of that bus ride in Edinburgh heading to Murrayfield with me to the grave.

Still to this day I though poor John was sat downstairs :D

I reckon I'll have to come to Cardiff then, just to not use their buses... if the snow here ever melts. Its been lying since Friday. The Lincs Wolds getting it pretty bad now.

One woman car driver interviewed on TV this morning. " I left Wragby ( near Lincoln ) for Louth and got stuck, turned round, went home , waited a few hours and now I'm stuck again."

Heavy snow overnight in Marsden, looks like more on the way judging by the white sky.

It's very pretty. I think I shall build a snowman in my lunchbreak.

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

Who was it that said the nights are drawing in?

Pah! It's like bloody daylight out there.

Sky Sports Jenna Brooks to Jake Connor regarding England selection : "Shaun Wane has said that he's spoken to you about why you were left out, he's also said he's told you what you needed to do more of, I'm interested, what do you need to do more of and did you do it tonight?"

Jake Connor : "I don't know, to be honest I haven't spoken to him."

It would be good to have a catch up again John, like we did last year for the Murrayfield Magic weekend.

I'll get in touch with you about Cardiff in the new year.

As for the snow

Here is what it looks like outside my local

Piling down here now, so work have just let me know we are now closed today! I'm not needed tomorrow either so I'm taking three days leave, staying warm and doing ###### all!!

If only I didn't have to go out to pick the wife up from work later :( :(

Still nowt to speak of here (had a very light dusting yesterday) but bloody cold. I suppose that's what you get for living less than 2 miles from the sea and a few feet below sea level!

I'm working at home today, the wife had to go in to work but she doesn't like driving in snowy conditions so I'm her taxi for the day. Took me 40 minutes to do the normally 15 minute drive to her work this morning then 30 coming back. I don't mind though, better her safe than sorry.

I was shocked at how many people thought it was appropriate to drive with small holes in the ice on their windscreens or fully misted-up cars with a hastily wiped small viewing hole, then going on major dual carriageway trunk roads and driving at 70mph+ while being 90% blind of their surroundings. At one major roundabout, I approached it slowing down carefully down the hill and got round safely, in the outside lane though was an idiot who sped past me to the roundabout then discovered his car had no chance of slowing down in time, thankfully the driver of the approaching car on the roundabout saw him and slowed down in time to allow the idiot to slide onto the roundabout. I wish the police had been out in force today as more than a few drivers were being criminally irresponsible

If people have no clue how to drive in snow and ice then they should either stay home or go learn.

I saw someone the other morning who had only cleared what amounted to 2 eye holes, couldn't even be bothered to do a letterbox sized hole.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
