What would everyone think of us 'taking a risk on Terry'

Think this guy would help both on and off the field. I know that he has been banned for failing a HGH test although I feel for the guy with his troubled past.

Really feel Newton could be an asset

To be brutally honest, i wouldnt touch him with a barge pole, im all for giving folk a second chance but there,s something just telling me "dont do it"

Im Fev and im proud

perhaps he did phil, and he's now paying the price.

He cheated, got found out and has been punished.

I've always regarded rugby league as an environment where re-habilitation of individuals is embraced. Even thieves released from gaol are able to better themselves and seek to live fulfilling and law abiding lives in our society. Some don't take the opportunity, but some do. He's done the crime and paid his time. He should now be free as anyone to seek employment in our society.

Newton wouldn't be a consideration for fev for me, but not because of his past. I just think we can get better value elsewhere!

Only my opinion here phil!

Not for me, I'd be happy with Kaye and Kain.

Not sure what Newton would bring, never really been a try scorer (apart from a couple of seasons at Wigan) and seems to lack creativity. A lot of money to spend on a player who just passes right and left at the play the ball.

First Demetriou (35 in a few months) now Newton (33 at end of ban), and theres always senior being mentioned (34)

why dont we see if Pike and Manwaring want a game, then we will be known as the Dads army of our division!

experienced youth is the answer not has-beens after one last payday

Like i said before he may deserve a second chance, but at this moment i do think that there is nothing he can offer us, to strengthen our team.

Correct Maureen we want players who show passion. Welham, Hardaker, Grayshon, Smeaton, Saxton to name but a few. The next time we win Maureen take a look at Welhams face. We need to look after those sort.

Yes I think Big Fellas would be a perfect sponser for Newton.
