Amazing!

Even more amazing is when I watch the footy and one player gives another a shove, or brushes past him a little too vigourously. Said player then falls to the ground in abject agony, writhing around the floor in spectacular style til the physio gets there or the stretcher etc!!!

Jamie carries on with a bust hand!!!! The lengths these guys go to for the sake of their sport has never ceased to amaze me - Frank Lampard will pay more tax in a week than any single one of our players will earn in a year - allegedly!!

Just one of the many reasons why i have no interest in football Robin.

I remember a game between FEV and Bramley that was possibly the worst game i've ever seen and it was still better than any football match i've ever watched.

As for Jamie, it just confirms what i already knew. A very determined and tough young man.

Tough, these RL guys! Robbie Paul had major surgery (the kind that would make a man's eyes water) and was back in three weeks - having been told eight - wearing a cricketer's 'box'. Our 2nd row, Tommy Goulden had to have emergency plastic surgery on his ear and mouth, after the Batley cup tie. He just shrugged after the collision, and walked off the pitch! He wanted to play last weekend too!

So I guess Jamie Field doesn't really surprise me. Mind you, I think he, and a few of his mates, should take a well-earned rest, tomorrow! ;)
