For once this game does have the novelty/glamour factor - although it does pain me to say it because Wendall will be dinig out on it  Leeds having the largest support in SL (and a huge catchment area) with no Cup or Wembley success in over a decade against a side that are certainly on the rise and has a feelgood factor about it.

Take nothing away from Saints but I think the lower showings of fans for GFs and CCs over the last couple of years is just a reflection of how much success the club has had recently. Ten CC SFs on the trot and 4 SL GFs on the trot is an amazing achievement.

The thought of this game does bring a buzz back to the CCF. 2007 with Catalans was good (big crowd) and last year was a novelty but Hudds support did have an impact on the attendance. I would imagine that, barring some Club Wembley seats, this will be a lock out.

I'm sure Wendall is suggesting Wire won't take as many due the novelty factor wearing off from last year, hence my glory hunters remark. B)

Are we gonna have 3 weeks of this....."my club will take more than your club has/will"

Where's that rope? ;)

Oh it'll get much worse saintsbird you know that...

"Wire players to poo before big game"

"Briers to mark 1 yr anniversary of stopping smoking"

"Warrington Primark to close for the day"

etc etc etc etc etc

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.

I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try

Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

I understand, tbh.

Wezza is on "ignore" here in Duckville.

His heart's probably in the right place, his brain possibly isn't....

Generosity overload there GC :D

I am undecided. I have a few good friends who are Wires & last year was pleased for them but would be nice to see someone else & Leeds were so thrilled to have made the final

(besides a Leeds win may bring wendall & PMJ back to earth with a bump  . Apologies to the decent wire fans on here)

Yeah, it's actually not too bad a shirt, but the primrose shorts just look daft.

I wonder if they'll be keeping the same shirt for next year...

No, get a new one next year it will probably be white with the p&b V! We seem to change every year!

The tickets are going like hotcakes at headingley but the ticket sales policy is one i'm not too sure about. Gold members and season ticket holders can collect at the ground up to four tickets each until tuesday p.m, and that's gonna make a large dent in our allocation. It seems a bit unfair that people without season tickets who have been to most of the games look like they might miss out on a ticket from the leeds allocation, meanwhile bandwaggoners that just happen to know a season ticket holder will be getting their face paint out for wembley. I think two ticket per s.t holder would have been fairer.

Well I can't support Warrington so it's looking like I'll be cheering for West Yorkshire.

Danger is that also ST holders that go to the games dont get the seats together then.

4 is fine and there will be enough tickets to go round for all fans who want to go.

Last year I went to Wembley with spares and couldnt give them away outside, this year we may even see a return of the touts! :D

Such glamour pours out of Warringtom, I'm surprised you haven't got a Harrods. :D

Anyhow, why should the novelty factor wear off so soon?

It won't sell out and never will because of the club Wembley allocation.

The RFL should be trying to buy these tickets off the owners if they don't intend on going because last year we had that horrible empty red ring around the ground.

Has to be the YORKSHIRE team for me, every time*.
