radio 2s dreadful steve wright tried to make the transition from radio to tv - it was a disaster- since then he has been stealing a living  doing exactly the same show day in day out month in month out year in year out to an audience who must be brain dead - i mean would they even notice if he just broadcast a random repeat show from 2010?- i doubt it

I'm sure I've read this post before... is it a repeat? 🤔

You're correct I didn't see it, but that's because I was busy working on the last League Express of 2021.

Don't forget to buy it, everyone! :kolobok_read:

I am always watching Doctor Who, though, so you weren't far off there.

Next new episode is on New Year's Day, just to ruin 2022 for you. 😄

Recently watched the full Blake 7 series that had been on forces tv. Dated in parts but still very watchable and was just as disappointed with the end as I was when I first watched it. I won’t go to far into it just in case  you can still have spoilers on something 40 odd years old.

Very much enjoyed the Ghosts Christmas Special on BBC 1 yesterday.

I think, unless you count random seasonal sport, that may be the only festive telly I watch this year.

I saw that too, and the Not Going Out special, which was reasonably funny.

Yesterday I watched most of Singing In The Rain and quite enjoyed it. I'm now watching My Fair Lady (until I go out anyway).

I am worried I might be turning into a homosexualist.

This assume you didn't notice the presence of Debbie Reynolds.

I suggest you go back and watch it again.

You can thank me later.

I did indeed. But anything 'musical theatre' has certain implications I feel. (Iight hearted comment)

The women in that era though, are total class. And far more sexy than the girls today whipping their t!TS out at the drop of a hat.

Recorded the Ken Burns civil war series on PBS I’ve seen bits of it before. It has some amazing pictures and even some film footage of veterans many years later. The last of which died in 1959 which I still find hard to get my head round.

Just watched the most expensive cruise in the world.

Prior to that I watched some Nigerian fella digging 27ft to get to some water.

Same species. Same world. Same time.

I'm finding it hard to reconcile the differences the two programmes I've just watched.

yer - i cant think of much worse than going on a cruise

Anyone else looking forward to the Book of Boba Fett on Disney+ starting 29th December?

It’s the latest spin off Star Wars tv series following on the back of The Mandalorian which I had low expectations for but greatly enjoyed it.

Returning to Boba Fett it will be interesting to see how they handle such an iconic character.

For me it’s the one show I’ve really been looking forward to since it was announced
