I'm not an avid watcher of Would I Lie to You? but I'll be giving it a watch tonight because I've just found out Professor Alice Roberts, or as I call her the future Mrs. Goose, is on! 😍

Lee Mack is funny , David Mitchell is not ......talking loudly and making childish comments is poor and even though the fragrant Prof Roberts will appear I will give it a miss.

I completely agree. I've always liked Lee Mack. David Mitchell is just an annoying ##### who loves himself too much.

Just watching/bingeing "Gold"

It reminded me completely of a London Mason's Ladies evening I once attended ..... businessmen, politicians, policemen, villains, ru players and ne'er do wells.

Like a well off person's Shameless

I was watching a crime doc ( it was Murder by the Sea ) and they had music ( a guy playing a violin mainly ) running in the background the whole show , even with people are speaking . Quite a lot of shows seem to do this , not sure why but it can get very irritating and distracting

Second series of Clarksons farm on Prime , got rid of the sheep and bought some cows , still making daily pratfalls which is good.

The episode with the Council re: the planning application was very depressing. Probably better discussed on the Politics sub-forum.

"I am the avenging angel; I come with wings unfurled, I come with claws extended from halfway round the world. I am the God Almighty, I am the howling wind. I care not for your family; I care not for your kin. I come in search of terror, though terror is my own; I come in search of vengeance for crimes and crimes unknown. I care not for your children, I care not for your wives, I care not for your country, I care not for your lives." - (c) Jim Boyes - "The Avenging Angel"

A great series to add to the expanding older ones on IPlayer including the 4 series of “Clocking Off” and all 3 series of “Happy Valley” from 2014 to this year.
IP has added more recent and new work: “Mayflies” (90min), a work of love as a “memorial to youth’s euphoria” and set in Manchester.  “The Gold”, a new 6-part series inspired by the 1983 Brink’s-Mat robbery - scripted by Neil Forsyth who did  the excellent Scottish series “ Guilt” 2019/21 for which a 3rd series is scheduled for this year.

Classic C4 programme on last night - Know Your S***.

The C4 stable just love programmes about sex and the nether regions. Anything for ratings.

Wonder if they'll do a programme called Know Your Feet? All about the exciting world of chiropody. Everything you need to know about fungal toe infections, fallen arches, bunions and many other foot related medical ailments. Probably not as it won't have that certain titilation factor that's attached to ones private parts.

Final episode of the series finishing in a few minutes. It's been very helpful and informative and interesting as someone who has taken a keen interest in gut health over the last few years. The gut microbiome is a burgeoning area of health, science and psychology.

Proper real-life telly, as opposed to "Reality TV".

Parole on BBC1 films actual Parole Board meetings and decisions.

Epiisode 1 was brilliant this week. A convicted murderer and con-man were assessed.

Under Scrutiny by the Right-On Thought Police

The murderer must have seen the Ray Winstone film about borstal life , swear filter will not allow the film title.
