Watched the Pluribus pilot. Despite having Vince Gilligan at the helm, I didn't want to get too excited, but that was thoroughly gripping.

Gilligan's roots are in X-Files, where he cut his teeth, and it's awesome to see him fuse the tone and style of Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad with something more supernatural/sci-fi/mystery.

Over the moon at finally having a show to look forward to every week.

I enjoyed him off the Six Nations getting royally shafted.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Not been following the show, but I have heard and read plenty of fawning and slobbering over him, so this is cheering news.

I cheered when the u**** chap got booted off The Traitors, i didn’t care who won the game as long as it wasn’t him. He probably would’ve given the charity money to John Inverdale 🐌

I've already seen Marler on Richard Osman's House of Games (and thus avoided that show for the rest of the week) then this, so I asume he's being groomed as the ubiquitous blokey boor by the BBC whenever they need a "jolly good rugger chap".

Which is always.

First 2 episodes are good.  Enjoyed it.  Hopefully they can keep it on track for the next 7!

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I don't mind him, I enjoyed him on Saturday Kitchen. But I'm not watching him on Loose Women.

Thanks for that, what a great piece of archive footage.

Seeing the postie on his bike reminded me of cycling down to the end of the point where the lifeboat crew's houses are. Not possible now after the 2013 storm surge swept away a long section of the road. The breach was so severe Spurn is an island twice a day now.

That's interesting.

I've been a handful of times and there was a good gap in-between times. One of the first times I think I remember driving down the narrow dusty road and there being small car parks the other side of a sand bank.

Another time later the track stopped (or is gated off) and there was either a tractor and trailer with pedestrians or something like a military transporter ferrying people across the middle which had disappeared.

by using the imdb database I  managed to work out that ITV3 had managed to factor in 48mins of adverts to an old episode of A TOUCH OF FROST  this morning - what an insult! the cheeky bar stewards!

The military style transporter will have been Yorkshire Wildlife Trust's Unimog. It's a great way to travel! You also see the blokes who dig for lugworms for fish bait heading down the point on e-bikes with big fat tyres.

One of the best things to happen to Spurn in recent years is that the lighthouse is now open to the public. The view from the top on a clear day is fantastic.

The drive is just so deceptive from Bradford, drive 70 miles to Hull and then what feels like another 70 miles to Spurn.

Absolutely, you get to Patrington and think you must be nearly there but the road just seems to go on forever.

came across a BBC comedy had no idea existed lately called candy cabs  (2011)- all star northern based cast  and the premise of something good BUT falls in to the category of "trying too hard to be funny"- such a shame- had they slowed it down and added some subtlety could have been great
