Hull Tigers freefall stutters as they score an equaliser in the fifth minute  of stoppage time at Hillsborough.

Not impressed.

At our rugby league playing school we used to play a version of round ball called "Dock Soccer" which was basically if you are caught in possession then "anything goes" as far as tackling is concerned.

The one-touch football was a joy to watch and well ahead of its time.

You went to a rugby league playing school??????

Did I miss those games lessons??

The Scots prem is league 2 stuff at best for the most part.

In the Highland League, Brora Rangers beat Fort William 16-0.

When the goals were scored - 4, 14, 17, 23, 25, 28, 40, 42, 56, 69, 75, 77, 82, 87, 88, 90.

Fort William dream of being Partick Thistle.

Hull Tigers have parted company with Leon Trotsky, or whatever his name was.

That's put the mockers on the successive relegations I suppose.

I got dragged to the Ricoh to watch the Sky Blues v Boreham Wood today.

The standard was pretty poor with the ball constantly in the air and lots of feigned injuries. 2,985 in attendance ( Yesterday Wasps had 22, 000, mind you it was a local derby against leicester. Troy  Perkins was there and he reckons it was a good game)

With the concern over injuries caused by heading the ball in soccer some of those players must be at risk. It was like head tennis most of the game.

I read that. It is a pity because they showed spirit on Saturday with the late equaliser. Previously they had been losing late goals. I think he deserved a  bit more time.

I think replacing Marco Silva was always going to be difficult though.

Up to 12 years old aye. After that, it was Tony Price rules only.

I never mentioned watching Fev when I was at school. Max woukd have been displeased!

If I'd have known the then deputy head was similarly afflicted, I think I may have had more confidence in singing the blues etc.

Back to where they belong. After we'd lost Granada, I never forgave YTV for showing teams like them. We all hated Yorkshire teams.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. Nigel Adkins is doing a sterling job, not only keeping Hull Tigers down near the foot of the championship, but dropping into the bottom four by losing to teams below them as well.

Bluddy Targers currently winning 0-1 at Blackburn in the FA Cup.

Hopefully they'll have an extended cup run and take their eye off their lofty league position.

Beating League One opposition should give them heart for next season.

Leeds clearly not bothered about the FA Cup. Seems the view is they Wont make much money from it and extra games that they dont want to play. Looks like they have decided to Focus on the League.

Shame really, Villa seemed to have the same idea, took an early lead, then capitulated late in the game,

Fortunately for Leeds Arsenal took their place as the laughing stock of the weekend.
