Obviously want England to win but these u21 tournaments lack a bit of intensity for me.

1-0 to Urawa Red Diamonds,  Inter Milan need to win this with River Plate to come in game 3.

Monterrey v River early hours tomorrow should be interesting.

I think the u21 is just as intense as the seniors and there’s quite a lot of Premier League experience on show.

I think now there’s more effort to link with the senior side it’s a good way to judge where we and other countries might be heading in the future.

i like the CWC but I would argue it’s a slower tempo generally than this big on quality England-Spain game.

Sloppy play by England taking it out the area, lost possession and eventually Quansah trips the Spanish forward.  Penalty coolly slotted home after giving the English keeper the eyes.

Just seen the HT stats and highlights on DAZN.

Inter had a lot of possession there.

Going on what I'm seeing comments about, and being sad and checking page views, England's U21 win is well ahead of the Club World Cup in terms of level of interest.

But both are far ahead of anything else, including the test match.

U21s Italy who are down to nine equalise with an amazing free kick which was the last kick of the game! Don't envy them playing extra time with 9 men but they are still in the game
