Situated on Penistone Road, which heads northwards from the City Centre towards the Hillsbrough district, the adjacent tram lines make the pub a popular port of call for locals and visitors alike. Less than a mile from Owlerton Stadium, home of Sheffield Tigers Speedway, STAARS (Sheffield Tigers Aid and Rider Support who meet at NBT) and Greyhound racing. From February 2014 the stadium will also be the new home of Sheffield Eagles Rugby League Club, returning to the venue where they first formed almost 30 years ago.
