Medical Staff Roles available with Coventry Bears: Club Doctor and Standby Doctors (Paid role from March 2015) We are currently seeking a Doctor/ Doctor’s who are looking for an exciting opportunity to be involved with a new professional Rugby League club. The Doctor/ Doctor’s must be Registered and Practicing with a current GMC number and either have or be willing to undertake training in the RFL’s pitch-side IMMOFP course. It is vital to League rules that the Doctor would be present at all Coventry Bears Home games. This position includes payment for attendance on matchday’s.� Club Physiotherapist and Standby Physiotherapists (Paid role from November 2014) We are currently seeking a Physiotherapist/ Physiotherapist’s who are looking for an exciting opportunity to be involved with a new professional Rugby League club. The Physiotherapist/ Physiotherapist’s must be chartered with current HPC registration and a degree or graduate diploma in Physiotherapy. You must either have or be willing to undertake training in the RFL’s pitch-side IMMOFP course as well as the MHFA Lite (Mental Health) and UKAD (Anti- Doping) Advisory courses. You would need to be present at all Coventry Bears Home games and have a close involvement with the coaching team and club management during pre season and during weeks of competition.
