Powell's post match thoughts

Recommended Posts

With the First Team squad now back in blighty following Saturday's defeat to Catalans Dragons we've caught up with Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell as preparations begin for the next game v St.Helens.

"The Catalan game was another game we could and should have won with more composure," said Powell.

"Our forward pack were superb for the whole 80 minutes and didn't take a backward step in the face of the usual provocation over there.

"The Solomona try should have been allowed but even without that I thought we did enough to win.

"We have had two tough defeats now and I'm looking for a massive couple of weeks leading into the St.Helens game."

Tickets are now on sale for the Tigers next fixture v St.Helens on Friday 27th February at Langtree Park. KO 8.00pm

Tickets can be purchased online here. Coach travel is available, on a first come first serve basis, to St.Helens, priced at £12 per person, departing from Knottingley at 4.30pm and the Mend-A-Hose Jungle at 4.45pm. Book your place in the Tigers Den club shop.
