The Bears scraped home to record their first ever win as a semi pro club.

In awful conditions they ran out 8-4 winners in Cheltenham.

The Bears had to defend for long periods in the second half as Glos utilised the strong wind to keep the Bears pegged back. Glos had opened the scoring on 10 minutes but with a try in each half the Bears dug really deep and managed to keep a clean sheet from then on.
