Government Advertising

Recommended Posts

Isn't it strange that there has suddenly appeared on TV a massive amount of government advertising, the type that the Tories complained about when labour where in power.

Tax payers money paying for the Tory election campaign?

By the way JohnM I wasn't happy with Labour doing it either.

I've noticed that too.  They did the same in 1983 & 1987.  One that sticks in my mind is "finding workers without jobs for jobs without workers"

The one about the coastguard irritated me in 1969 and it still does today.  Joe and Petunia who are portrayed as thick, speak with northern accents, the guy in the boat speaks with a southern accent.  :( Same goes for the country code advert!
