Rumour going the rounds is Hayne to Titans for 2 years.

So his dream was to play for a Queensland team?

South Sydney have emerged as a contender for the services of Robbie Farah in a move that could resurrect his NRL career.

Farah has again been named in reserve grade for Wests Tigers this weekend in the biggest indication yet he has placed his last first-grade game for the club.

It was thought that St George Illawarra appeared Farah's most likely destination should Farah decide not to see out the final year of a lucrative Tigers contract worth about $950,000.

However, the Rabbitohs are poised to become a legitimate option, with the embattled club expected to table a two-year deal.

If South Sydney sign this nasty little grub I'll walk away from the sport. Gold member and this would be the final straw for me. Michael Magiure is totally out of control.

I wonder how Farah will go at South. I don't think it'll turn out well.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson has laid down a challenge to misfiring prop Sam Moa, telling him to perform or perish.

Moa finds himself at a crossroads in the final five weeks of the NRL season - without a deal for 2017 and in danger of losing his place in the New Zealand Test squad.

In an attempt to light a fire under the Kiwi wrecking ball, Robinson said the 30-year-old's contract talks would hinge on his performances in the run home.

"We've discussed it with Sam and he's not on contract at the moment," Robinson said on Sunday.

Moa to be booted out anyway, whatever?

Knights' back Nathan Ross has signed a two year contract extension. So he'll be at Newcastle until 2018.

“I’m absolutely over the moon with the contract extension,” Ross explains.

“To know that I’m going to be here for another two years is a reward, I think, for all the hard work.

“It just goes to show that if you chase your goals hard enough, then you’ll get there.”

Code Switch by Rona

The Western Force have secured the signature of Canterbury Bulldogs star Curtis Rona, with the dynamic winger to make a code switch after signing a two year deal with the club.

The 24-year-old try-scoring machine made his National Rugby League debut in 2014 and in three seasons has gone on to become one of the most prolific try scorers in the competition. Blessed with spectacular speed, power and finishing ability Rona was the second highest try scorer in the competition last season and has scored a staggering 39-tries in 53 appearances.

Born in New Zealand, raised in Perth, Rona played for Wanneroo Districts Rugby Club and was a member of the Western Force Academy before making the switch to rugby league in 2009.

Standing at 194cm and weighing in at 102kg Rona has played the majority of his career on the wing but has also been used in the centres for the Bulldogs this season.

Interim Head Coach Dave Wessels said the club is ecstatic to have signed Rona and excited about what he can bring to the team.

Titans have revealed plans to sign Jarryd Hayne for life amid fears the multi-code superstar is using the Gold Coast as a transit lounge before returning to Parramatta.
Titans boss Graham Annesley wants Hayne to finish his NRL career on the Glitter Strip after his stunning debut last week generated $250,000 in ticket sales for the club.

At his unveiling as Gold Coast’s shock signing, Hayne spoke at length about his heartache at not returning to Parramatta, fuelling rumours he is a reluctant Titan craving a career swan song at his beloved Eels.
