And to think, 3 weeks ago he would have signed for us. If only we'd have offered him a contract when he asked!!!!

Do you know what he asked for? I am sure the club would have signed him (as they have done every year) but how do you think a Bulls contract looks at the side of a Dogs contract? If JC wanted to play for Batley he would be playing for us next season simple as that, he wants to play for Bradford, and who in our team, would not jump ship if offered, hell a lot of the HW supporters did a few years ago and they didn't get paid for it....

Despite off the field issues, a great servant of the club and, you might recall, one of the first to sign up and stay at the club when all around him were jumping ship.  God knows what we're gonna do for flair next season if he's leaving the club.

Through injury and suspension we haven't seen too much of him over the past couple of seasons which is part of the reasoning why we have been underperforming but atleast we know what to expect next season.

I'm partly glad he's off as he deserves that opportunity for his playing ability and he will be getting past his prime soon. Good luck IF it's true, can't fault the effort and commitment he's shown in a Batley shirt.

At 28 its make or break. Young family and a last attempt at making some brass from his career. Cant bemoan him.

After all byron moved to Dewsbury for a very small increase

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

And much more winning pay.

You must be ecstatic at the moment considering your having your best season in decades and may even finish a whole place above your prestigious neighbours!

Decades? Anyway what you won while we've been away? Sorry you won NRC & choked in a GF. whole place above you,but a massive 13or gap!!

For a club the size of Batley winning the NRC and being runners up in a Grand final is a tremendous achievement.

Additionally in that period Batley have not been relegated.

Regarding your last sentence. There is still time!

I'd have liked to see him at the rams if honest

Local lad and the extra commitment that brings

Think life at the rams would have suited him more

Regular first team rugby

Reduced travelling

And just another face in a ever expanding squad at Bradford

As long as he gets the best deal for him and his family

Money isn't an issue at Batley, Kevin said so!

Campbell deal is a done one. Won't be announced till the end of the season - two year deal.

Nothing on Rowe Rowe Rowe Rowe your boat yet.

Think the Batley boat is going gently down the stream, if you see league one, don't forget to scream.
