The poster says is all really, so if you are around the Herts/North London area on Wednesday, please feel free to pop along and support this game, as any monies raised - bucket collection - will be going to army charities.

Jam Eater  1.(noun. jam eeter) A Resident of Whitehaven or Workington. Offensive.  It is now a term of abuse that both towns of West Cumbria use for each other especially at Workington/Whitehaven rugby league derby matches.

St Albans Centurions 16 -v- 32 British Army Rugby League.

Great game of none stop rugby.  The Army lads were, big, fit and fast and didn't stop coming at you.  Although we lost, the lads were really pleased to be praised after the game by one of the Army coaches as one of the best amateur teams the Army have played against in a long time.

Photos from the game will be on our photo website this evening.  (That's the mayor of St Albans and one of our sponsors in the middle.)
