Pennine league 2015/16 season

do bentley have any juniors? I know toll bar do but do they have any youth?otherwise it could be entering a comp from not a solid foundation, sharlston have none, not unless they nick a few sides from surrounding clubs.

What happened to moorends, marauder? they were the best side round that neck of woods for a long while, noticed some of them playing for toll bar, was there a fallout/coach left?

Yes they do, they have really moved forward in the last few season after moving into Wheatley Hills RUFC.

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.

A little bit of everything mate, went from 60 odd players in the winter to scrapping a side together within weeks.

There's a new format now with a six team premier division and a few clubs having swapped divisions

Don't know what your obsession with numbers in a league is, the Hull Premier division in the 80's only had about 6 teams in it and that went on to form the backbone of the NCL.

Anyone know why Doncaster Toll Bar are gone from Premier and Allerton Bywater from division 1?

They have joined the Yorkshire Mens League. Toll Bar in the Premier and Allerton in Division 4 though the structure is provisional at present.

If you are a regular on the forum it was obvious by the negative posts that Sharlston were not well thought off by a lot of people, this was when they were talking about applying for the NCL

: Poaching Players

: Paying Players

: Trying to poach youth teams etc.

: Feedback at NCL meetings

Personally I don't have an issue with the club, were people frightened of their achievements and saw them as a threat I don't know and it has taken you that long to reply the whole Ethos may have changed
