Dunno if I've got any fingernails left after our last game with York......

...but we do it all over again on Sunday!!! :)

However...this time we're at home, and will have a 17-man squad now we're back to playing on a sensible day of the week ;)

...and if Barrow beat Rochdale the day before, we could secure 5th place for a playoff spot with a win :)

...no pressure then..... ;)

I was listening to the game on BBC Radio Cumbria and Rochdale were well ahead in the first 20 but Barrow fought back and 2 quick tries before half-time put them ahead - but then they went on the rampage and Hornets folded apart from a couple of consolation tires by Crooks at the end.

A great result for Crusaders - but wee need to back it up with a win at home tomorrow.

We Are North Wales Crusaders.

Game day and what a big one it is. Lets hope the lads can do it today as yet again we are down to the bare bones with just enough players to fill the bench. The crowd will need to be right behind them today it could make all the difference. Lets do this and today and kill off any hopes for them up the road before a nail biting last game.

Cru, cru crusaders!

Well, if that last York try was a try and not a knock-on, then I'm the flamin' queen!! How can you drop the ball from about 2 ft off the ground and the ref give a try??? Probably the worst reffing display I've seen all year, and it clouded what was on the whole a good game between two evenly-matched teams...

Hey-ho, we'll just have to cement 5th at Thunder next week......

Apparently ref said that ball was knocked down by Crusaders player attempting the tackle and Brining grounded it then...

In all honesty, Matt Reid's try didn't look any more convincing !

Great match to watch though - two teams who play quick, entertaining rugby.

Two fabulous tries, York's third created by Presley and that amazing pass of Ashall's to Johnson.

Enjoyed the atmosphere down there - a few clubs at that level could learn something from the Cru's fans about getting behind their team.

Ref certainly seemed to see things no-one else could !

andy - yes it was a good game, and it makes a change in this division that York came to play rather than looking for a fight, which is always appreciated. You never know, we may meet up again at Widnes ;)
