gogledd Posted September 9, 2015 Share Posted September 9, 2015 So we get to the very last game of the League 1 season and our place in the play-off depends on a win - and only a win will do. 5th place has become very exciting in whats been a great year of close games at the top of the league. Rochdale Hornets play London Skolars on Saturday so we will know that result before going to our game in Newcastle. Thunder is always a great trip ans we'll look forward to meeting our old friends Kev and Jim and the rest of the Thunder Army. The coach for this Sundays (13 Sept) trip to Newcastle Thunder can be booked at Glyndwr Uni Sports Centre. Seats are £20 for Supporters Club Members and £22 for non-members. The bus leaves the Turf at 09:00 as the Great Northern Run is being held in the city too. Don't forget its the annual fancy dress trip - this years theme is 70's and 80s rock and pop music stars. Strap on your guitars and dig out the glitter and stack-heel boots. Its also the annual Great Cru Bake-Off - savory or sweet, make it a treat! There are already 36 seats sold - so book now and avoid disappointment - it will be a cracking day out whatever the result; but lets hope for a win and see where we get in the play-offs.
