Guest
Apparently, could be on a contract at Souths of £700k per year. Add to that a few sponsorship deals and you're looking at close to $1 million.

dhw
Add to that a few sponsorship deals and you're looking at close to $1 million. According to certain posters on here the top NRL stars do not get lucrative sponsorship deals that are not included in the value of their contract. Gerri Monside
Fantastic news. He's been blamed, scapegoated and pilloried by so many in the RU camp for England's exit. All completerly unfairly, most utterly inaccurate in their "factual" analysis. All he did was try his best. As always. So welcome back son. Welcome home. You're back where you belong. It's an easy kick for the lad but, as we say in Rugby League, there's no easy kicks. @IanLancaster65

St Reatham
Gotta love some of the comments popping up: "The worst decision in the history of rugby union was this Sam burgess scandal . Burgess is a rugby league player and union was totally out of his league . Many a union player can go to league as the rules are simple pass run tackle but going from league to union is impossible"

Manfred Mann
Forget about Sam Burgess playing in the Third Test against New Zealand. After one year of playing rugby union he cannot possibly be up to the fitness standards of rugby league. Just ask Henry Paul, who after returning directly from the Dark Side struggled for weeks to get up to fitness levels at the London Broncos!
