i don't think you can anyone has 'gone' yet as below the formal structure there is still to be a merit league so hopefully the East Lancashire sides will appear there with Acton maybe. Bury aiming for a 3rd team at that level this year.

A few amendments. Widnes Tigers are now gone from Division 3. Clock Face Miners A and Salford City Roosters A have joined division 5. Not sure if the Entry League line up is still the same

Yes. Salford City Roosters are Eccles and Irlam Hornets amalgamated.

How as it worked out for both clubs merging? Has it been a success?

MancRL, I doubt if Hornets would have continued at all without the merger. About 5 or 6 lads moved to amalgamated team but they are all good players and without them I doubt if Eccles would have had a team worthy of the NCL either, but that is just my opinion. Yes, it is working well, and all the boys have a good spirit together.

Positive news this week. New facilities and plenty of interest. Good to go again this year.

Hopefully the start of a new era for RL in this part of East Lancashire.
