Doncaster Rugby League are delighted to confirm Ryan Wright has rejoined the club until the end of the season.

Head coach Gary Thornton has moved swiftly to secure the services of the hooker, following more injury news that captain Kyle Kesik is set for a spell on the side-lines.

Wright joined the Dons in July 2015 from Dewsbury Rams, having a positive impact on the team, but was unable to prevent the clubs relegation to League 1.

He made eight appearances for the Dons during his time at the Keepmoat Stadium last season scoring one try, coincidently against Dewsbury.

Over the close season Wright returned to Dewsbury and made six appearances in the Championship for the Rams this term, with his last outing the 34-16 victory over Sheffield Eagles last month.

Since that win, Wright failed to feature in any of the three defeats following and has been allowed to make the move back to Doncaster.

The move is subject to RFL approval and Wright could make his second Dons debut against Hunslet Hawks this Sunday.
