Connor Scott Hopes To Keep Run Going

<p>Doncaster Rugby League forward Connor Scott spoke to the official website ahead of Sunday’s clash with Newcastle Thunder.</p>

<p>The Dons head to Kingston Park on the back of three straight victories in the division, but there will be a change of surface this weekend due to Newcastle’s 4G pitch.</p>

<p>Scott was pleased with last Sunday’s result at Hunslet and is hoping the Dons can continue the current good run.</p>

<p>“Hunslet is always a tough place to go to, we haven’t won there for a number of years, so it was good to go there and get the win, it was a really good victory,” said Scott.</p>

<p>“It is a long drive up to Newcastle this week, around three hours, it will be fast with it being on 4G but I think it will suit us because we have a few quick players in our team.</p>

<p>“I’m hoping the three games we lost on the bounce earlier in the season was our bad patch, hopefully we can continue to kick on and rack up the points.</p>

<p>“Hopefully we can go up there and get another good win, which would make it the fourth win in a row.</p>

<p> “We know that we have to work hard in every game though, nothing is guaranteed, but we are all looking forward to getting back on the pitch on Sunday.</p>

<p>“We are all buzzing at the moment, in camp everything is good, everyone is having a laugh, but doing the serious stuff as well, so It is a really good environment to be in.</p>

<p>“We still have players coming back too and if we can win with what we have got at the minute, it can only benefit us as we approach the business end of the season.</p>

<p>“It would be great  to get back to the top of League 1, it was good to see us there at full time last weekend.” </p>
