Driveways with signs saying “Private property, no turning”

Firstly it’s no skin off their noses and secondly it’s legally unenforceable.

I think I’m saying get a life.

I've been known to use drives with those signs to turn around even when I don't need to.

Stickin' to the maan ?

Endless betting adverts , all reeling you in and everybody wins. But especially the hand  in glove relationship between sports broadcasting and betting adverts . Every break in footy , cricket , boxing etc is a different company

Android based TVs. We have a Sony telly with an Android operating system and it’s abysmal. It’s slow, clunky and about as user friendly as trying to run Windows 10 on a ZX Spectrum.

Turning off the abysmal Youview system helped a bit but there’s far too often we press a button and it takes 3-4 seconds to do something, by then I press the button again as I think it hasn’t recognised it and does the action twice, or randomly four-five times.

Other Android tellies we’ve seen are just as slow and useless.

I have a Toshiba smart TV, but I don't know the OS. Seems to work all right most of the time, but a little limited as to which apps you can install. Swings'n'roundabouts. Currently discounted.

I usually buy f1 tickets through the exchange market as i usually only nip in and around the event, preferring to watch from a hotel suite with the posh mob...this year i've decided to buy a grandstand ticket and have just tried to.

Website didn't accept my UK card, so fair enough, i called the number as requested. Cannot pay over the phone and they've redirect me back to the website. Sigh. Not just the RFL that are utterly useless at selling tickets.

Facebook and LinkedIn are annoying me even more than normal this week.  When I hit that filter button that says "sort by recent" then SHOW ME THE MOST RECENT THING FIRST THEN WORK BACKWARDS FROM THERE.  It's not sodding difficult, every post is time-stamped.  I don't want Facebook or LinkedIn deciding that an irrelevant post from someone I barely know that they posted yesterday should be shown first because their system thinks I didn't see it or hover over the image of them getting an award for sorting paper clips properly for long enough.  If I wanted to see that sort of "ranked" stuff then I'd leave it on the default ranking of "top stories".

I barely go on Facebook more than once every few days now because it's just so annoying and effectively non-user friendly.  LinkedIn is rapidly going the same way.

Still on social media. Instagram this time.

I’m now fed up of that sodding Book of Mormon advert that is on Instagram. Those people waving on the advert are getting into the Farage and Inverdale class of annoying. Imagine this but a moving version of them doing a very camp fast wave

Linkedin is always more depressing as a home for deluded insecure people shouting empty jargon into the abyss.

When I was 16 I to have a NSU Quickly moped. The tank held one shillings worth of petrol and the two stroke oil was added separately. That lasted me a month. Rosemary in the local garage fancied me so I got my petrol for nowt ( well, I used to be kind to her guide dog),

I have paid less for a car than I have paid half a tank of petrol.

Dear Diary

We've now had two day's of articles in newspapers and online about how a minor royal shuts a car door, do you think we should have a referendum about it? Did Jeremy state his position on it? Is it a vote winner? Are the Cabinet divided over it? Has the pound slumped on the back of it?  DOES IT REALLY FU**ING MATTER!

Apparently she's only "normal" if she can change a car wheel!  That rules out half of the population then...  I know plenty of folk who wouldn't know where to start in changing a wheel following a puncture.

I missed this earth shattering news . I don’t read the psycophantic tripe about them but the headlines I see some royal, usually princess , is ‘ wowing ‘ the crowd by walking and waving at the same time or ‘ stealing the heart of the nation ‘ by doing nothing other than being immensely privileged . I often wonder who ‘the people’ or ‘the nation ‘ is that tabloids talk about . The people usually couldn’t agree on what day it is

My apathy to the ruling classes prevents me reading your quoted story but l would be surprised if any of them have the first idea about changing a car never mind a wheel, doesn't Charles have a dresser to help him change clothes and, you know, dress in a morning.

The cost of putting the first men on the moon was $25.4 billion.

I am currently in Lanzarote. They could have sent those spacemen here, the landscape looks exsctly the same and they would have saved approximately $3.95cents
