I remember the days when UoW only had 2 degree course - metalwork and knife fighting. The UoW was one of the biggest drawcards for the Steelers recruitment in the early days. It had fairly low entrance requirements and the Steelers would throw all education expenses into playing contracts to recruit players from country areas. Here's a trivia question, especially for Brits: UoW had its own RL team in the Illawarra comp for many years. Who was their most famous player? Matt Shirvington in the pre-game shaow, talking about Hodgson leading the Dally Ms: No Englishman has won the Dally M since Gary Freeman in 1992 ??!?!?!?!?!?!
