Then my wife told me she used to work with a lady called Genna Taylor! Seriously, what were the parents thinking? Anymore? A computer gadgy at compower cannock was called mike hunt.... seriously!! The memsahib was staffing an outpatients as newly qualified nurse and shouted Ayron Mycock. This isnt apocryphal cobblers. My mum knew an Ivy Bush and another called Rosie Sole. When the names were called for ration books they would shout "R SOLE" In the blink of an eye it could all be taken away. Be grateful always. We also had a Mike Hunt there (and an Elizabeth Taylor.) One of my co-workers was called Dave Wardrobe and named his son Matthew Thomas (i.e M.T Wardrobe) - only spotted it when he came into work a couple of weeks after the birth and we all burst out laughing. I also used to work with Martin Martin. School friend of my wife married someone called David Nurse. She is a Doctor. My wife also has a friend whose married name is Theresa Green.
