Join Mancunians on the Real Ale Rail Trail

Recommended Posts

If you're looking to buy a ticket for England v New Zealand in the 4 Nations, then Mancunians are running a trip to the game via the real ale rail trail from Manchester to Huddersfield. What a great way to raise funds for rugby league development in Manchester.

Meeting at Piccadilly Taps, just outside Piccadilly Station, you’ll be welcomed with a free beer*, then it’s onto the train to Huddersfield and return after the game with the option of returning via the world famous Real Ale Trail, which is a series of pubs that are on, or very near to, railway stations between Huddersfield and Manchester.

We’ll meet at Piccadilly Taps at 11:30 where your free drink will be available and your match tickets will be distributed, and then leave on the 12:41 Trans Pennine Express train to Huddersfield.

After the match we will meet at The Kings Head, which is on Huddersfield Station, and then depart back to Manchester some time after, via Stalybridge station, where there is a pub right on the station platform! You will need to purchase a return train ticket to Huddersfield via Stalybridge as train tickets are not included in the £30 offer, but a FREE beer* is!

We get the tickets at a 40% discount from the RFL and the funds raised from the sale of the tickets goes towards Rugby League development in Manchester. Seats are in the lower tier of the main stand, between the 10m and 30m lines in category 2.

*or a soft drink if you prefer.
