In all honesty were starting too look as you say like a championship club. Obviously a lot of work going on in the background so a big THANKS to all concerned.

A ground announcement?  Is it the week before the season starts already?   ;)

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

If anything,it is a sense of relief that we can continue at BF.Some of you are on a high that we seem to be operating at some sort of parity with the clubs around us.Perhaps this is more of an indication of the depths we have come from. This parity needs to continue and grow into something better. If this means giving CH a kick up the jacksy to remind him ,then so be it.Merch on sale for crimbo is a must.If we can climb a little and be having the same conversation this time next year, good enough.

The new air of positivity is heartening. I'm sure that for some, they probably vent out of frustration which is quite normal whilst some vent because no matter what anyone does it will never be good enough. But,yes the positive comments as of late is a welcome sign of optimism and positivity.

Hamilton haters what new hobby will you turn to now

It's not a hobby it's a vocation. Lol.

It's hilarious that you're all cock a hoop cos it's going right ONCE in 15 years.

You don't get extra credit for the stuff that's supposed to happen. The stuff that's your basic job.

Lost lease on former home stadium. Check.

Half a million quid of liabilities. Check.

Alienated home town council. Check.

Alienated Rugby Oldham. Check.

Players leaving for nearest/fiercest rivals. Check.

Still no supporter involvement in the running of the club. Check.

Pattern made up of squares. Check.

See if something's ok. Check.

Financial promissary note. Cheque.

Arsenal goalkeeper. Cech.

Any person from East European Republic that was formerly joined with Slovakia. Czech.

In all seriousness...

There are clear signs of a more professional attitude. Stuff like season tickets and merchandise available early will be a big step not just in supporter relations but also in secured revenue terms.

Dave's work on social media and digital comms has also made a big difference to perceived supporter engagement. Extra guaranteed revenue from securing a championship place helps secure contracts with suppliers.

I would like to see a coherent forward plan both for the development of the club as a whole and for genuine Supporter involvement.

Information transfer is much better now but being told something is very different from being able to influence it.

Just can't give any real credit can you? Probably gutted that the gang of 5 who don't go failed to get anything done. What a surprise.

The club is moving forward and that's good, some folk have to pick holes in everything. As long as progress is made that's key, not harping on about mistakes etc and other stuff. The amount of sarcasm in your first post sums up why the club can't do right for doing wrong.

Players leaving for Rochdale, childish, they are leaving because we don't want them, simple.

Alienated the council-excellent they are a disgrace

Lost lease on stadium-good it's a dump

Negative, negative, negative. Nothing will ever be good enough for the negative brigade, no one ever said that things have not been right at the club, but us that do actually support them are pretty damned chuffed with the way we are progressing at last. Nothing will spoil that for us and nothing will stop us enjoying supporting ORLFC no matter where we play or wether we have a megastore etc.

Stick your negativity where the sun don't shine. Up the Yeds! OTID
