"The London Phantom" returns home

Recommended Posts

It must be just past halloween if "The London Phantom" as the RFL media tagged Kieran Dixon returns home to the club

This has made my day, Kieran can clean up at this level

2 excellent signings for the Broncos, in areas they needed to strengthen. It may give them a genuine chance of promotion.

You have to feel that Dixons career has gone significantly backwards though after so much promise. Hope he can get back to SL as he has a lot of potential but needs to eliminate the errors from his game

He'll be a valuable member of the Broncos squad, especially as he hardly ever misses a game.

If any viruses or bugs sweep through the squad, it's not a problem for Kieran, he never catches them.

For all the potential he showed (essentially pace), championship rugby is just about his level. Too many errors in his game and not good enough in the tackle.

broncos need better if they want to challenge for Superleague.

Perhaps he was at the wrong SL club in Hull KR?

Dennis Moran was superb at London but not Wigan

Actually that is a valid point, some players regardless of the sport they play in fit in with the system at one club and fail when moving on to another where systems are different and expectation of that player is higher. Keiran has gone from being a fringe England player breaking his leg in the Knights game at Salford pre-world cup, through having a nightmare game when KR got to the Challenge Cup final, then not being able to get tnto their side. Hopefully he will return back to the way he was pre -2013 in his second spell.

Dennis Moran is always one of my favourite players who kept London up in 2014. Dennis problem was that he was "the man" as Sniffer called him for the Broncos but playing for a  Wigan on the slide as the Millward team was and being regarded as the main playmaker there proved too muc,h as expectations at the Wigan Club, were and are, different to those at the Broncos
