Their points seem to be straightforward. He is not a good coach - what might be his answer? His team, his players, his tactics, his results : explain. (Many cannot attend after the game. This does not absolve him from criticism.) Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change. coolie
Don't see where morrison 's argument is His results, methods, team selections, dual reg abuse has put us in the position we are, nobody to blame but himself...and just having the ability to shout louder than anybody else when pointing out his frailties.. His results and performance's are proof and testament that there's something wrong.. And unfortunately the fans can't be blamed.. Fronting supporters out is something from the tony fisher era Were in the entertainment & results business.. And if your not producing either the fans will want your head Remember Dewsbury was a stepping stone for you So step off And make all the keyboard warriors happy. Rambo
Thought the effort from the players was good today in terrible conditions. After going to Rochdale I feared that the players no longer wanted to play for GM but that didn't seem the case today. What was evident (as it has been for the past 2 seasons) was the complete lack of any creative play or guile from our halves. When Glover came on he did well but only lasted 20 mins before been hauled off again? its going to be a long season!!

Like I said earlier, we have already lost to two of the most likely competitors for relegation and I just can't see who we can beat. The only hope is that once again we raise our game massively when we play the big boys but to be honest we have even less idea near the line than we have had in the last couple of seasons and I just can't see it.. can't fault the effort yesterday. Thought the lads gave everything but ultimately it wasn't enough

christheram
If Glen turns us around then hel get the praise. If performances continue as they have been then criticism will probably continue. It's sport. It's what happens in British sport. Not sure Australia is like that but over here it is. Glen was an highly respected player who always gave his all and probably never got criticism as a player from supporters. Not many players do because people respect rugby players. It's a tough sport. Putting thier bodies on the line. Coaches are different when it comes to criticism. Fans are just bored and frustrated at the moment that's all. We all say things in frustration and let's be honest, Glen is not sending us out to lose. Just at the moment our decline is worrying. Nobody's chanting Morro out at games so people are trying to get behind the team. More Morro barmy army songs get sung than people slating. Was surprised to hear he offered fans chance talk to him but maybe he wanted fans to understand from his point of view. Probably feels he can't do anything right at the moment but one good result and performance from his team could change that if we can hit abit of form. Clearly confidence may be alittle low at the moment but we go on... on to Toulouse. UTR
the old nine ole
Rant begins!! ... As has been said many times by many fans on here ..... we are just a half decent no7 away from a good team and ( if you get my meaning ) a good coach!! .... why can't we just fix it ..... DR could fix it .... just a few quid can fix it ... we don't need to mortgage the future ... just a bit of common sense and a bit of creative application will fix it!! ..... Its so obvious.. Glen must know ... Mark must know... everyone who watches the team knows!!!! .. So why are we doing nothing about it?? ..... as I see it we don't have a single specialist scrum half at the club .. Andy Kain is a stand off!! James Glover is a stand off!! ..... any other suggestions??? Please Please see the solution and ..... just fix it!! ....then we will win a few games ... Glen will get his halo back!! ... its not rocket science!! Rant over!!

the old nine ole
After todays result, If he has any integrity he would offer the club his resignation !!! ........ or offer to pay for a decent scrum half out of his own pocket!! ( incidentally I note Chris Ackroyd played a blinder for Wakey academy ... scoring 2 tries and a couple of assists ... if only!! )
Ramite
Yep it looks like his time is up a decent showing tonight even if we didn't win could have seen him limp on. However it's now time to for him to leave he has lost the dressing room. Any ideas who would replace him ? Homer: How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?
