RIP Norman smith

From a era when rugby league was played in the mud.

From an era when rugby league wasn't full of athletes.

From an era when the game was pure & simple.

Thank you for the memories

Your contribution to Dewsbury was appreciated.

RIP Norman - thanks for the most entertaining period during my time as a supporter.

Censorship ends in logical completeness when nobody is allowed to read any books except the books that nobody reads.

Exactly. What days they were. As I've posted on here before we won nowt but who cared. The best years I can remember.  Glory days of entertainment one can only dream about now and before BSJ reminds us those were the days of winter rugby.

RIP.

Happy times, especially when he was in tandem with Jack Addy. Fans seemed to enjoy their rugby, as did the players and Norman always seemed to have a smile for everyone.

He will be sadly missed.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

A great time at the club back in the coaching days of Norman Smith.

Shame I couldn't make it to the game to observe the minutes silence and pay my respects.

He always had time for the fans and mixed with everyone after the games.
