Btw, there were 328 at the Skolars to see them lose to Worky and 818 at Newcastle to see them lose to Donny, according to League Express.

Perfect, thankyou. I've now updated that.

Looking forward to the Doncaster match, sounds like they were a bit sloppy defensively, whereas I thought our attack was disjointed so something will give.

Just struggling to arrange a lift down to the game for my partner who's volunteered at York for 17 years (I believe!). I'm working 6am while 2pm that day in Wakefield and won't have time to get back up to York. So if anyone has a spare seat please let me know, she's well trained and will pay petrol and it's only for the trip down there, I'll be driving us both back. Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

My old pal is Graham Bradbury Andy and he tells me that you and he go back a long way.

First time I met Graham was on a footy field - he was reffing, I was playing. Top bloke, hours of entertainment talking to Graham !

I'm hoping he's turning up to see me and the band on Saturday !!

Back by popular demand! All stats taken from loverugby, some teams (West Wales, Coventry) have yet to play a home match so it's not complete. Last seasons averages in brackets.

Can I have a breather now? ;)

What you laughing at Spanish knight? ? I am serious on this one. I think we can top this league, and if we achieve that we could go ballistic in terms of support.

Could the heady days of the late 70,s  early  80,s  really be coming back again, I think we all agree this beast has slept too long .

We have some big games to come at home which will help our average: Donny, Oldham, Workington, Whitehaven, Newcastle and Hunslet. Asides from the Bulls and Keighley there has been very little by way of away support. All big marketable games that will provide a real contest rather than a one sided encounter where the outcome is in no doubt and it’s more a case of seeing how many we can score.

Beer and York Knights. Proof the God loves us and wants us to be happy. 🍺🏉

I think your attendance average will now gradually drop as the season goes on and out of curiosity what  would your average attendance be without the Bradford match included.

Also other teams cannot wait for York to visit them with there army of supporters have you filled a coach yet

With York being a wealthy city, most fans have cars so we dont have to rely on buses.
