It looks fantastic, I'm sure it's worth all the time and effort. A first class facility. Take a look at Saddleworth Rangers new clubhouse, just goes to show what can happen when people get together. Congratulations.

Local Politics have been holding this refurbishment up, the local Labour party have done a lot of the hard yards working with the user groups but the council changed hands 12 months ago and a Community Party took control, they stopped the project saying they wanted to spend the money elsewhere, however they didn't expect the locals reaction to their decision.

Under pressure they have released the money for this project to go ahead and we are now waiting for the release of the money for our new stand, this should be done once we have had another local elect to fill a seat vacated by one of the Community councillors, if Labour take the seat then the council will swing back in favour of the Labour party who are more sports oriented.

If this happens we'll be trying to get them to allow us to build a little clubhouse of our own pitchside.

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.

Politics always knackers things up,just look at the British Government. I love seeing posts like these as it proves that people care and when people care things happen.Rugby league forever mate and all the best to Horne Marauders. Good luck with your clubhouse.

Congratulations,looks very good.

For the amateur game to prosper in modern times,I've always thought it necessary to offer good facilities.Gone have the days, when people would be prepared to change in a pub and walk 10 mins to a park ground.

Good effort,well done.
