Allora
Who is travelling to Australia for the upcoming 2017 World Cup? The thread on the International game is dead in the water. Any going on group tours or going and visiting Family down under? Its just around the corner. Talent is secondary to whether players are confident. Someone should tell Channel 9 and Fox (and its band of merry RL legends) that. Have those 2 channels even acknowledged it is taking place? They sulking about C7? Can make it down this time. Gutted. Although wouldn't rule out a smash and grab to the final if we got there.

There has be plenty of promotion from other outlets in the last few months, billboards, internet pop ups. Talent is secondary to whether players are confident. You would imagine every conversation about player's form they would be talking about a World Cup jumper? Even now they prefer "made for Origin". The Game in Australia is big business, they would be told not to promote an Event on a competing channel in any way. Its just a conflict in the game between traditional media suppliers and a new upstart in recent years. Talent is secondary to whether players are confident. UxbridgeBunny
I've got a ticket for the final and will do whichever semi England are in (hope not tempting fate!). I was hoping to do the whole tournament but the other half wouldn't have been happy if I left her here holding the baby for 5 weeks!

It was a link up with qld tourism promoting the games up there...

leaguefan13
Flying out to Melbourne on wed 25th for the England vs Australia opener.. then having a week on the Gold Coast before flying down to Sydney for the Lebanon game. Then fly home the following weekend but making an overnight stop off in Perth for the double header... I would of rather seen the later rounds but the uncertainty of where we will be playing put me off.

Competitor broadcasters forget to mention a competition in the news if they don't own its broadcasting rights. Suddenly, they release it existes as soon as they get the rights back. creditwhereitsdews
Hoping to go to the opening PNG game but the tickets still aren't on sale yet, with little over two months to go until it's due to be played. Are the Port Moresby games still taking place or are the organisers getting cold feet?

gogledd
I'm going!! I will be following Wales through the pool stages and have tickets for Port Moresby PNG, Townsville and Perth. I'm then heading for the QF in Wellington NZ - I know Wales won't be at the QF but I have friends there and wanted to visit NZ on this trip. Then I'm heading for Brisbane for the SF and Final. I am really looking forward to it - a trip of a lifetime.

O'Neil's are a great supplier in my experience Considering it's a similar arrangement that England RL have with BLK, there are a lot more products available for Ireland RL. That should not be the case with England RL's standing
