PREVIEW | Toronto trip excites Horne

Richard Horne is hoping the Dons can cause an upset and become the first team to take points off Toronto Wolfpack on Canadian soil.

The Dons make the trip to face the Wolfpack this weekend and Horne says the team he picks will be capable of performing well against a team already promoted to the Kingstone Press Championship.

He said: “We’ll go over there and look to play some good rugby, we need to express ourselves as that is the best way to try and get a result against them.

“We will have a training session on the Friday and have a team run, getting used to the surroundings and the pitch will be key.

“We’re hoping they’ll take the foot off the gas having already won promotion, they’re a big team that are capable of playing at a much higher level so we’re under no illusion that it’ll be tough for us.”

We wish you luck.  I mistakenly said in another thread that the game is meaningless for the Dons but it is not in context that your seasons hope's ride upon it.  It was a poor choice of words, as what I was trying to say is that you are in really tough, although everyone in Toronto knows you will give it your best.

TWP has announced its starting side:

A couple of traditional starters are being rested but it appears to be a strong side just the same with some big men and fleet feet playing.
