Dons News Posted September 29, 2017 Share Posted September 29, 2017 The Dons have released a number of players following the conclusion of the 2017 season. Louis Sheriff, Richie Barnett, Aaron Jones-Bishop, Mark Castle, Mike Kelly, Jamie Thackray, Makali Aizue, Ryan Wright, Chris Heil, Reece Dean and Mike Worrincy have all left the club. Feka Paleaaesina is also departing after announcing his decision to retire from playing rugby league. Richard Horne is now tasked with bringing the right players in as the Dons rebuild for 2018, with the aim of promotion in his first full season with the club. Richard Horne said: "We have made the decision to bring some fresh players in as i felt we needed a change following a poor end to the season. "We now look ahead to bringing some quality players in, and wish all the lads who are leaving good luck for the future." The Dons would like to thank all the departing players for their efforts while at the club, and wish them the best for the future.
