I’ve backed England.  8 point win.

1000 (1100)- Australian team forgets tribal dance moves.

12 noon (1300) - Pastis!

1pm (1400) - Sydney Morning Herald ‘Should have appointed Bellamy’.

9.55am - One or both anthems butchered.

10.07 - England player forgets we are playing international rules and throws away possession thinking it is a free play.

10.15 - Australian players hold down England for what feels like a week and it is somehow justified by the ref as being ok under international rules.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

10.26 - England denied a clear try by a bizarre VR decision

10.33 - Australia awarded a clear no try by a bizarre VR decision

I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally

At 6am on Sunday I expect to see Scotland enter the arena wearing cheap blue t-shirts with logos and sponsors crayoned on by local schoolkids as BLK continue their shambolic performance.

Matty Russell plays most of the game shirtless much to the delight of my wife.

24 hours???? nah, 48 hours :clapping:C'mon Wales!!!!!

oh, you meant England getting hammered by the Aussies again?? Think it'll be closer on the scoreboard than physically on the field, expect Aus to steamroller it, with England getting penalised for offside, not square, and then lying on to slow the aussie PTB...

Could be wrong, and if so it will give the 'Roos a right kick up the jacksie for the rest of the tournament....

cru....Cru.....CRUSADERS!!!!!!

You mean you expect the ref to penalise England for nothing? Yeah we all do.

Cam Smith to have several conversations with Mr Chechin resulting in a 12-1 penalty count against England, one of which results in a match winning penalty kick for Australia in the last minute.

8:00am - Me to text all RL known family and friends that I will not be watching the game until around 4:30pm.

9:00am - Delete Twitter and turn internet off my phone to prevent accidental checking of score.

12:15pm - Battle with myself about whether to just check the result, manage to win battle just.

EITHER

12:15 - 3:15pm - Somebody with whom I have never spoken about RL in my life will happen to have found out the result and will come to me either saying 'bet you're disappointed,' or 'bet you're made up.'

OR

3:15pm - 4:30pm - I will accidentally hear the score on the radio or as I'm trying to put the recording on.

Noon: - England win leads to grumpfest on this forum because we've nothing to moan about.

A pre-emptive moan about moaning. Classic TotalRL

If it was the second of a three match series I would be quite confident. Australia by 20.
